Staff and Volunteers
The quality of care at Dwelling Place is anchored by staff chosen
for their genuine commitment to serve the elderly. Our staff
includes a registered nurse, licensed practical nurses, long term
care aides and housekeepers. An important element of the care team
is a dedicated core of volunteers who contribute their talents and
skills to help improve the quality of life of the residents.
We are always grateful to our volunteers who generously give of
their time for our residents. This includes various other musicians,
a regular therapeutic pet visitor, Erin and just plain other people
who come and bring cheer to the clients. Volunteers from Vancouver
Island University have come to delight the residents with their art
therapy, a group of high school students from the local Christian
school who spent time to chat with the clients as well as provide
interesting musical entertainment.
